Color Consultation - interior & exterior
Color is especially important in design for commercial spaces. Once you have taken the time to look at our photo gallery you will most likely agree that the use of color makes the greatest transformation of all. Often, if all you do is create and implement a carefully chosen color scheme, you can change the mood and productivity of a space.
Sometimes WHITE (excuse the expression) is just what is needed but we believe that white should be used as a focal point and mixed with the appropriate range of supporting colors or tones to create the professional environment your business needs to project. There is a perfect color palette for every space.
Once we have established your color palette we will use it to design the other elements you require, such as upholstered furniture, wood tones, metals accents, room dividers, window treatments and accessories.
There are several steps we will take you through to develop a perfect color scheme.
- First, we arrive with a huge set of the biggest paint swatches you have ever seen. It really helps when you can
- We will then put together swatch boards and samples of whatever additional materials will be needed for your renovation. Flooring, fabric options, lighting…
- When we have a series of colors selected, we prepare 11”x 17” color samples of your choices and strategically place them around the office.
- Most often a successful color scheme includes a series of colors carefully plotted to work together. We will make a ground plan of the space and literally map the colors and the order numbers. It is exciting to start to see how the colors will move. More importantly, whether you use our painters or your own, it will help you plan the work and have a flawless finished product.
Our team of painters is especially well trained to follow these color maps and have the technical skill to do most of the wall techniques we plan.
Depending on your needs we can be on site to supervise and help your staff prepare the space or we can remain on a “call as needed” basis throughout the process. We can bring the crew in on a schedule that works best for your business. We will help your company remain as organized as possible.
